What Does the Nutrafol® System Entail?
Nutrafol®’s formulation incorporates key botanicals, vitamins, minerals, and other natural ingredients that have been scientifically proven to address common causes of hair loss and thinning. Some of the essential ingredients include ashwagandha, saw palmetto, curcumin, and collagen, among others.* These components work synergistically to nourish hair follicles, balance hormones, reduce inflammation, and combat free radical damage. With this in mind, Dr. Houssock can determine which Nutrafol® products to add into your regimen after your initial consultation, wherein she will evaluate your hair restoration roadblocks, goals, and needs.
Since hair growth is a gradual process, eligible patients are directed to incorporate Nutrafol® into their daily routine and allow time for the product’s natural ingredients to take effect. The supplements are generally taken once a day (four capsules at a time) with food. While some patients may notice improvements within a few weeks, others might experience significant changes after several months of use.
How Much Does Nutrafol® Cost?
At our practice, the price of Nutrafol® is $199 for a three-month supply; however, please note that this number is contingent upon several factors, such as the incorporation of additional hair restoration methods (e.g. finasteride, which can be taken alongside Nutrafol® supplements).
